”Bravery”

Made in the wilderness of Montana in the Lolo National Forest.  This piece is made with individually selected tiny turquoise stones - strung on waxed linen cord using a Shambhala sliding knot closure. (Scroll down to find out more about the stones.)

Making this bracelet is like sewing beads onto string while putting together a puzzle. Unlike typical loom bead bracelets, the various sizes of the natural stones make each line of beads demand precision, innovation, and tightly sewn craftsmanship. Each and every stone is carefully picked out to fit its space.

Size:
This bracelet is adjustable to fit most adult wrists.

*To get the most wear out of this fine piece of jewelry, do not shower in it or expose to chemicals such as perfume and lotions.

**This item only includes the bracelet described.  Any other bracelets in subsequent photos can either be found in the shop or have already been sold.

Turquoise:

Turquoise is known as the Traveller’s Stone as it was a revered stone of the Native Americans, most of whom were nomadic tribes that followed the buffalo trail. Turquoise was said to protect the traveller’s on their journey across America and is still used to protect travellers today. The Turkish and Egyptians also believed that Turquoise protected souls travelling on after death as many graves and the temples in Ancient Egypt were found to be inlaid and adorned with Turquoise. The Turkish soldiers used to carry Turquoise to war and had it inlaid in the saddles and reins on their horses.
