Simplicity
The simplest design requires the most discipline. As the artist, resisting the temptation to stray from the monotony, focusing on the same predictable bead, over and over and over, can take just as much mental energy as it does coming up with an elaborate design. And for the wearer, simple doesn’t attract the attention that showy and shiny things get. If it gets paid any attention to at all, it’s mostly by the silent subconscious, where slow, stable, and efficient energy is recognized…where simple isn’t talked about, it’s felt.
