Re-entering Society

It’s been two full revolutions around the sun and so much has shifted - internally and externally.  It’s been two full years out of the van and navigating a completely different life.  Transitioning into society after being calibrated so closely to the sun, clouds, shadows, and all the living spirits living in a natural rhythm is deeply discombobulating on a cellular level.  But I left that life because I needed to do more for the greater good and for everything under the sky we are all in connection with.

Coming back into society after being sensitive to subtle shifts in nature has created an even deeper awareness to the atrocities people are enduring in the Congo, Sudan, Palestine, and still enduring here on Turtle Island, or more widely referred to as America.

Also, being back on social media after finally figuring out how to be in one place and grow roots is also a jolt.  Trying to hold onto these sensitivities is like defying biology and society all at once.  But I believe it is the greatest form of resistance.  Finally I have reached a place of stability to work at getting my creativity back, but it’s moving slowly, and I’m just going to let it.  I’m not quite sure how things are going to go, but this shop has grown and changed a lot since the day I opened 12 years ago.

That’s all I can say for now, but as the creativity starts to come back, I’m looking forward to using my handmade art as a form of resistance, healing, and sharing humanity with all of you in these times where even art is under attack with the rise of ai.  Aiming to release a very small micro batch September 30th.  Thanks to everyone who reached out - your messages meant everything 💕.
