Lessons of a Little Bird

I was watching a little bird land on the one shrub out in this beautiful field, and I thought to myself, what makes a bird decide to move? Why bother? What made it come to that bush and what is going to make it leave? And one thought lead to another and I thought about what makes us keep moving on? It’s the energy between good and bad...bad and good. Having enough and then not having enough. If everything was always good all the time, then would we just stay still? Would we not go anywhere? Maybe all the darkness is the price to pay for more light. Maybe I’m not running away when things get dark but simply just moving forward...moving on...moving. There is, after all, so much to see.
