Choosing my Reflection

If I’m going to become my reflection, I want my mirrors full of fighters! People who fight for the greater good.  People who don’t settle. Who don’t wait on the world to fix itself. Who know the way out of hell. And hold on tight to the truth. I need the mirrors that bring the world into focus and reflect back who I want myself to be. The ones that when I begin to doubt myself, I can look into and trust that I’ll find my way back to me.

Proud to be fighting alongside these powerhouses. 👊🏽🔥
(Special mention for my friend Muumbi who is not on social media - the second photo shown...if it wasn’t for her grit and ability to see through bullshit AND HER COURAGE TO SPEAK HER MIND, I would not be here today.)
(Also special mention to my friend who was a guiding light when everything surfaced - a fighter and warrior - @trizzer_brownowski who has been a rock to lean on as the trauma surfaced. I don’t think I would’ve survived January without his ability to listen, always know what to say, and deep understanding.)
