Art is a world without rules and confinements - a place to explore your imagination and everything that falls and flies out of it. Taking risks in art is like a training ground for taking risks in life. Breaking free of routine and having something new come of it can feel so rewarding, that it challenges you to take risks in other areas of your life, too. Change the shape of the stone, change the color of the bead, change the way the bracelet closes…change a cup of coffee in the morning to tea, change the like on Instagram to a phone call, change the critic in your head to an encouraging art teacher saying, “I love this. Can I show this to the class?” Change everything! Braid your neural pathways into a dream you can wrap around your wrist. Change is uncomfortable but it’s also liberating. And just like art, the freer you are, the more extraordinary life gets.
