A Metaphor for Life

It’s all about your foundation and your tools...the materials you gather. And if something is not working, you tweak it...otherwise, you needlessly wear yourself out. Then, you’re ready to start drilling - just be sure your form is good...put all your weight right over the point of pressure, start slow, warm it up, until you find your groove...tell yourself, “You’ve got this! You can do this!”, and keep drilling till you think your arm is going to fall off, and then, drill harder. When you want to give up, take a break instead. If you have to start over, do it! When your heart is in it, you’ll eventually make it. And as your environment changes, and materials change too, you’ll need to adapt to your materials available and go back and work on your foundation. And when all the elements are just right - your foundation, your form, and your spirit - an ember is made...and that’s all you need to bust it into a flame!
